2008 - 2009 SEASON |
COMPETITIVE LEAGUE HOCKEY PROGRAMS:
House:
House League consists of Mites, Squirts, PeeWees/Bantams. Games and practices are played at the Horgan Arena in Auburn.
It is recommended that skaters have 'graduated' from the Instructional Program. Evaluations held in late August.
Program duration: Late August - Mid April
Cost: $500 per player (+ $20 Uniform Fee)
Midget:
Midget
Practices are at the Horgan Arena in Auburn with games being played at New England Sports Center in Marlboro. Evaluations held
in late August. Program is dependent on having 12 or more players registered by May 1st.
Program duration: Late August - Mid April
Cost: $750 per player
Travel:
Travel league consists of Mites, Squirts, PeeWees, and Bantams. The teams compete in the NorthStar Hockey League (NorthStar Youth Forum in Westboro) and play 4 or 5 tournaments.
Travel evaluations held in late April/early May.
Program duration: Late August - April
Cost: $1200 per player for Squirts, PeeWees, and Bantams/$1100 per player for Mites
(PLEASE NOTE: Tution fee does not include team jerseys)
Mosquito:
Mosquito League consists of playing approximately 20 practices, 20 half ice games, and a year end full ice tournament. Practices are at Auburn or Holy Cross, games are played at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro.
Coaches are on the ice at all times lending assistance and guidance to the players. This is primarily a weekend program and is an excellent way to introduce younger skaters and parents to real game hockey. It is recommended that skaters have 'graduated' from the Instructional Program.
Program duration: October - April
Cost: $350 per player
INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAMS:
These programs are designed to introduce the love of the game of hockey to all ages—Minimum of 4 years old (No exceptions.) The programs run in ten-week sessions. (DEAFinitely Hockey runs in eight-week sessions.)
First Session: October - December.
Second Session: January - March
Learn To Skate Program (LTS):
For those just starting out on skates. Skills taught are balance, forward skating, backward skating, turning, and stopping. Tuition includes a MidState Junior Sharks hockey jersey.
One-hour sessions are on Saturdays at 12 Noon.
Cost: $120 per player, payable in full at registration
Learn To Play Hockey Program (LTPH):
Skaters will learn the rules of the game, teamwork, stick handling/puck control and continue to develop the basic skills of skating. Tuition includes a MidState Junior Sharks hockey jersey.
One-hour sessions are on Saturdays at 1 PM.
Cost: $120 per player, payable in full at registration
DEAFinitely! Hockey Program (LTPHD):
All ages and levels of hockey skating and skills with instruction given in American Sign Language. One-hour sessions are on Saturdays at 9:00AM at The College of the Holy Cross, Hart Center Rink.
Cost: $100 per player, payable in full at registration. |

Trophies for Championship and all Runner-Up teams & players.
